Richard Koek

urban planning - landscape architect - director

Between 1981 and 1988, Richard Koek studied Architecture and Urban Planning at the Delft University of Technology. Immediately after his graduation, he started working for Centrum Herengracht, where he became a co-director in 1993. The firm was then renamed CH & Partners, Urban Planning and Landscape. With CH & Partners, a large body of work was created in the Netherlands in urban planning and landscape architecture projects, especially in projects at the interface between the two. The intermediary scale of urban planning, from spatial plans to strategic explorations for villages, cities and regions, characterises the firm’s approach. On 1 January 2009, CH & Partners merged with Rijnboutt Van der Vossen Rijnboutt bv, to be able to provide consultancy work on all levels of spatial design through the joint firm Rijnboutt.
