Conversion AaBe Factory

Tilburg

The former AaBe textile factory is set to be given a new lease of life. The complex is to be transformed into what will be a unique retail centre in Tilburg. Rijnboutt has produced the design for the entire redevelopment, including site layout.

The plan forms part of a number of redevelopments around the Piushaven area. The first phase (construction of a community shopping centre and the restoration of the listed façade) was completed in November 2014. The second phase (listed factory hall, factory workshops and new construction) started in mid-2015. The entire project is expected to have been completed by the end of 2016.
